I just got a violin from a friend who didn’t need it anymore cause he got a new one so he gave it to me because I wanna learn, so without using a violin teacher (because we don’t have enough money at the moment) what book brand/name/writer is the best? I’m not too familiar with violins but just a book for a beginner will be great. Thanks for helping.
The most popular books that are used in the public school programs are:
Stricktly Strings
All for Strings
Essential Ellements 2000 w/ CD -probably the most used method book
Spotlight on Strings
I like the Spotlight on Strings book. It was written by Doris Gazda, a national acclaimed music teacher who has many published works for young musicians.

Hahaha! One of my favorite playstation game “Legend of Mana”. This song is from the town Domina by Yoko Shimomura and I don’t own this song. I don’t have other instruments so I just used what I have. I made a cover for it. It is hard not to make mistakes and I am a beginner when it comes to violin. Please be kind hahaha… Enjoy!
